You likely remember the two calves – Colette and Lillith – who are living with the dairy herd and drinking milk from their moms. They are growing up so fast! Colette (pictured above and on the right below) is looking particularly strong and healthy. It is hard to remember that she is full Jersey, given her fat and muscle! Most Jerseys are more boney and thin but not Colette! We get so excited to watch her and talk about her – Matthew and I were just discussing how fascinating it will be to have her in the milking herd in a couple years – we’re really looking forward to having her as a dairy cow and seeing how she compared with others of her age.
