Topher makes sparks (and a good weld)

· October 28, 2013 ·

On saturday evening Topher welded a new hinge for a gate in the barn.  This gate separates the two sides of our barn – the bedded pack and the free stalls.  I didn’t know that he was going to be working on this project at that time, and I walked by and saw the sparks flying out of the corner of my eye.  It immediately caught my attention, as I worried that there was a fire of some kind.  I quickly realized that Topher was working on this project, so I came in to check it out.  The bottom hinge in the photo below is the new one that Topher put on.  The top one is an older hinge that had broke.

Great job Topher!
